BDW among other selected participants were invited by PMO Economic Planning Unit to share our views on future Malaysia workforce with Minister of Economic Affairs, Dato Sri Mustapa Mohamed recently. The half day workshop were attended by representatives from Government Agencies, NGOs, Academician, Private Companies and GLCs. This is to review and reassess Malaysia's policy towards ensuring a better workforce placement post Covid 19.
Among others we recommended collection of data on school leavers after SPM, making policy towards high competency workforce, students to be placed under company's mentoring programme and depoliticize education system. Thank you to TalentCorp Malaysia for the collaboration with BDW towards a better talent development in Malaysia, Kita Boleh.

I find Jharsewa extremely useful because it provides a single-window platform for many government services. Earlier, getting certificates used to take weeks with multiple office visits, but now everything is available online. It has simplified processes like applying for income certificates, caste certificates, and residence certificates. The tracking feature also helps citizens to know the status of their applications in real time. Jharsewa has definitely improved transparency and efficiency in public service delivery, and it’s a great initiative for the people of Jharkhand.
The introduction of Rajiv Yuva Vikasam has changed the way youth see their career opportunities. It provides access to free or affordable coaching, scholarships, and skill-building programs. For students from low-income families, this is nothing short of a blessing. It ensures that financial limitations do not stop them from achieving their goals. The scheme not only supports education but also promotes confidence among youth. Rajiv Yuva Vikasam is surely one of the most beneficial initiatives for the youth today.
The launch of the PDS Odisha portal has brought great relief to citizens, as they no longer need to depend on middlemen for information related to ration cards and food grains. People can directly access their details, update records, and check availability of stock through the official website. This initiative is highly beneficial for rural as well as urban households who depend on ration for their daily needs. PDS Odisha ensures that the right people get the right benefits at the right time.
