Public will no longer need to go to SSM offices to obtain documents with CTC stamp. Today, with the collaboration between Big Dataworks, SSM and POS Digicert documents purchased online via MYDATA SSM portal will be Digitally Certified. Government agencies in the likes of Immigration, Road Transport (JPJ) and Municipal Councils have implemented the use of these documents for official submissions. Digital CTC is a transformation of the manual document authentication service through a combination of statutory imaging technology, digital signature, date time stamping and Quick Response Code (QR code) with security features.

Digital CTC products can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the MyData SSM portal www.mydata-ssm.com.my

This is an interesting update on Digital Certified True Copy (CTC) and how Malaysia is moving towards fully digital document authentication. The shift toward QR-based verification, digital signatures, and 24/7 accessibility clearly improves efficiency and reduces the need for physical office visits. It’s a strong step toward modernizing public documentation systems.

Roaming Delhi’s Connaught Place, I searched online and clicked https://aviator.in from a street vendor’s recommendation. The landing page loaded like the city’s bustling lanes. I placed a small exploratory bet, lost it, then recalibrated and struck a winning exit on my next try, recouping losses and earning enough to buy parathas for a late-night snack. The climb of that digital plane felt like ascending the Qutub Minar.
