MYDATA SSM International Portal Launched

KUALA LUMPUR: Entrepreneurs and businesses owners in Malaysia, as well as those from other countries, can now save time and cost when obtaining information of business entity and company information from the Mydata Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) International portal. The portal offers company and business profiles listings, financial historical comparison of companies and digitally certified true copy of business certificates.

The services offered are charged at an affordable rate, and payment can be made via with Internet banking, credit card or the Mydata prepaid account. SSM chief executive officer Datuk Zahrah Abd Wahab Fenner said Malaysia was the first country in Asean to introduce such services.

The event was officiated by Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Deputy Minister Datuk Henry Sum Agong. Present were Big Dataworks Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Sheriza Zakaria, executive chairman Tuan Syed Azmin and SSM Chairman Dato Sri Jamil Salleh. The portal is co-developed with Big Dataworks Sdn Bhd, the service provider of Malaysia corporate information and KYCKR Ltd, a listed Australian Securities Exchange company with offices in Sydney, London, delivering its services from Ireland.
